Manila Times: Panlilio group eyes Roxas
Sec. Teodoro makes for strong admin bet
Sen. Manuel “Mar” Roxas 2nd and Gov. Ed Panlilio of Pampanga running for the highest elective posts in the 2010 elections is being considered by their supporters, according to “running priest” Fr. Robert Reyes.
Reyes, though, did not say who between Roxas and Panlilio is being groomed to be their candidate for the presidency. Full article
I am very disappointed with the Kaya Natin in entertaining the idea of having a Roxas-Panlilio tandem for 2010.
I thought this group is for good governance and genuine change but its very sad to realize that they are cuddling Mar Roxas whom I consider as a traditional politician (TRAPO).
I am sorry to say but my president is Bro. Eddie and I will campaign vigorously to educate the people especially the youth why Bro. Eddie best fits to be President of the Philippines.
God bless us all and I hope love for God and country will reign in our hearts.
I am Filipino.
I am patriotic.
I am a voter.
I voted for Eddie C. Villanueva last 2004.
I will vote for him again on 2010.
The Philippines is worth LIVING FOR!
I am at the rally at Ayala last December 2008. The man being referred to as the running mate of Among Ed is also the man who shouted foul words at the street. What kind of a pilitician is he? Did he think because of the disgust we have against the GMA regime gives him the license to deliver foul words on the streets? Did he ever thought that the rally was spearheaded not just by opposition block but by religious leaders of different churches?
Is he God fearing? i don’t think so. Because if he is, he will fear God for saying such foul words.
“rally pa lng nagmumura na siya, paano pa kung nasa malakanyang na siya.”
“akala nya siguro ang hinahanap na modelo ng mga kabataan sa katapangan ay ung marunong magmura”
LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE??? Mar Roxas is not qualified.
My dear kaya natin patriotic countrymen,
MAR ROXAS is not the person to be partnered with AMONG ED.
First, I thought that kaya natin invited Mar Roxas to join the primaries,
per the title of the PDI report copy furnished to us by Harvey himself with the foregoing statements atributed to him.
Hence, my impression that we, at kaya natin have already considered supporting Mar Roxas if he makes it in the primaries. That announcement actually upset me.
My position remains the same. With all due respect to Mar, I have not considered him to be one such reform candidate that I desire to be the my candidate for President; If the Kaya natin thinks so, I will respect it but I must also make it clear that I have considered myself out of it and I will cancel any political activity that I might have started, if only to assert my convictions.
This might sound stiffed neck on my part because many would like to think that there is a need to reform the government by uniting the opposition. Well, I do not exactly believe in the so called opposition. It is my belief that just any opposition cannot guarantee ethical changes in the government.
This statement may well please clarify my position and future action if Kaya natin adopts Mar Roxas- May I will just beg off. But I do hope and pray that Ed Villanueva, Ed Panlilio, Nanding Pacheco and Grace Padaca should continue to talk. That is where I belong.
Bob Ocio
Same here. No trapo for me, period! I don’t care what they say, what they do, where they graduated, how good-looking, how smart or how rich they are. NO TRAPO!
I’d rather vote for a nobody, never heard, none of the above candidate than vote for a TRAPO.
knowing the existence of kaya natin! group and not joining it much earlier, mar roxas’ running for either president or vice-president under the kaya natin! banner should not be taken lightly at all.
As KAYA NATIN started NEW in the way government should be run,on people to run it (government), let us leave it best at that.Having anything to do with trapos would not bring anything good to KAYA NATIN.
I agree with Andoni, Joemer, Bob and Mike. No trapo please.
Kaya natin magkaisa at magsama-sama
Para sa pagbabago at pag-angat ng ating Bansa!
Blessed Easter to All.
NO TRAPO’s and NO RELIGIOUS LEADERS for 2010!!!
Bro Eddie Villanueva is not a religious leader but a visionary leader. He is more than qualified to transform the Philippines into miracle nation.I am for Bagong PIlipino,Bagong Pilipinas!!!

People here really need to be educated…….Big time education!Come to think of it,dont just think for yourself, think for our country. You may choose Gov. Panlilio because you want reforms. But come to think of it,many Pilipinos are in Hunger, wat would u address more now?reforms or the Economy? And for that,i will ask you guys, who has a better understanding of the economy?Panlilio or Roxas? Now answer me!People here are too negative, judging Roxas for that Putang Ina in a rally? Why dont u think of the positive side that Mar has contribute to our country.Like he is the pioneer person behind the booming of call centers here in our country and the Cheaper Medicine Bill to name a few.And now tell me one thing of reforms that Panlilio had in our country or significant contribution he had made. And now tell me who u want to be the next PRESIDENT!No offense to Panlilio but he didnt have any reforms made even in Pampanga and now u want him to lead our country?????????????????????
Guys think before you open your mouth…And plz, dont just think 4 urself, think for the whole country!
Mar Roxas is not a visionary leader. Look at his advertisement, it started with him riding padyak tricycle and ended up having him the driver. His timing to have weeding ceremony with tv host Korina Sanchez is something fishy to me. He knows how to make use of something he can.
It’s his responsibility to make laws as a senator that’s we voted for him for the senate seat. But to be a president is another issue.
